Fully certified K-12 French in NC and Advanced Placement French,  BA in French from Siena College in Loudonville, NY (1984), where she also studied Spanish and German; Master of Arts in Education from The University of St. Mary in Leavenworth, KS (1997)


Kelli Kenner spent many years living and traveling abroad, and brings this global worldview into the classroom. Kelli is a passionate educator who incorporates the teaching of art, music, literature, dance, film, drama, history, media and current events in her instruction of French.

Kelli has several years’ experience at the administrative level, serving as Dean of Students and then Principal of a small, independent school in Virginia. She has taught English Language Arts, US History, Medieval History and Latin. For 5 of the past 6 years she served as the Foreign Language Department Chair and French Teacher at Douglas Byrd High School in Fayetteville, NC, and most recently served as French Teacher and ACT/SAT Instructor at Overhills High School in Spring Lake, NC.
