Lynne Corbett - 6th Grade Social Studies & Science Teacher

Lynne Corbett joins Oxford Preparatory Schools as a 6th Grade teacher but is no stranger to the OPS family. Lynne’s oldest son Jason attended OPS for two years (currently at NCSSM) and her younger son Adam is a current freshman. She is a passionate supporter of the school’s vision and is excited to be a part of the new OPS Lower School. Lynne has 9 years’ experience teaching K-6 in Granville and Vance Counties.  Prior to obtaining her teaching certification through East Carolina University, Lynne was a Vice President for Bank of America in Charlotte, NC. She received a BA of Psychology from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.

Reagan Courliss - Guidance Counselor and Success Seminar Teacher

Mrs. Courliss received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle Grades Education in 1999 from UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master’s of Education in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University in 2007.  She served as a middle grades science and social studies teacher in Wake and Chatham Counties for seven years (1999-2006), then transitioned to a school counseling role for nine years in Lee County (2006-2015).  In 2011, she began working as a licensed mental health counselor in a part-time capacity and left the public school system in 2015 to venture into private practice full time.  Missing the energy and rhythm of a school setting and--most importantly--the students, Mrs. Courliss was drawn to OPS because it provides a unique opportunity to blend several of her professional skills, strengths, and passions...counseling, teaching, and supporting adolescents on their path toward post-secondary success.

Currently, Mrs. Courliss retains the following licenses and certifications in addition to her school counseling license:  Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in North Carolina, National Certified Counselor (NCC), National Board Certified School Counselor (NBCT), and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).

Tammy Pulliam - 6th Grade Math Teacher

Tammy Pulliam is a graduate of Meredith College and has been teaching for almost 17 years.  She has a passion for math and it is her favorite subject to teach.  When she is not teaching math, you can find her spending time with her daughter, husband, and their dog, Snowball!
